THANKS TO TRAFFORD FC FROM THE ALTY FANS
Below are comments taken from the Altrincham FC Fans Forum website www.altyfans.co.uk  after last Tuesday nights pre-season friendly at Shawe View.

Robin 1978 - Thanks to Trafford FC for a great evening. Made to feel very welcome as usual (having been a few times now). Excellent club & Facilities. It was my 3 1/2 yr old son George's first Alty away (+ night) game and he had a great time. He wants to goto Curzon Ashton on Saturday now and have his face painted too! Well done to Alty & GH + Co. on a decent performance. Hopefully do it all again Saturday then!

Markecky - Without being the least bit patronising I love the setup at Trafford. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

(S)Alty - First time I've been there but was impressed with the set up and ground. A good evening all round (apart from the weather!) sorry I couldn't go as I always enjoy my vists to their extremely tidy and welcoming set up.

Jezza - They are what they with no pretentions and reasonable ambition to be the best at what they are and they are a very nice little club at their level.....let's hope they never get a billy big boy egomaniac in charge who turns them into a fleetwood…

Red Red Robin - Agreed, a nice ground and very welcoming. Would def go again.

Taxi Phil - I intend to do a couple of games there this season when we're not in action (or too far away for me to go). It's only 5 minutes from home for me, and a cracking little club.

Alty Is Me - First time I've been, nice set up all round, might go again when Alty not playing.

Jimmyhank - My first visit to Trafford, too. A very welcoming place. Thoroughly enjoyed it

TheAltyBlog - Fans were nice too. A group of them behind me complementing Saunders (Russell that is!) and other players. There was also a Trafford player not playing through injury who said he used to be at Macc with Michael Carr and rated him. Good evening all round and good luck to Trafford for the coming season.

Steve from Sale - I will second all that, a very friendly club and what to me for last few years has been an annual pilgramage.
I do think that the ground is very good, my lads have played in Cup Finals in Timperley and District on that pitch, and it has always been a good one. Highly enjoyable evening, I'm entirely with Ecky on that one, great friendly club of which I hope has had some much needed revenue from us. I bought my entrance fee, donated a £1.00 for the programme and ate their food, so I have done my bit also. Thanks to Trafford and to Graham, Kenny and the lads for a very entertaining evening with much to llok forward to.
